People that have the ability to feed the hungry are not helping. People in places like in the US. Suffering people in Africa are not getting the help they need. Yes, they are getting some help, but not to an extent it can save many lives. That is an ethical dillema that is present in world hunger. Organizations such as the UN, development banks, and Oxfam international are trying to help this issue. However, it is not enough. This is effecting human rights because every person should have the right amount of food to live a sustainable life. It is also affecting environmental problems.Typically, the environment is the foundation of how you're economy flows, leading to the amount of access to food you have. If I were put in this situation, I would have done things such as helping other people that are suffering as well. World hunger effects many values. Families are being impacted, since they don't have time to actually be a "family". Education is being impacted because children cannot go to school because they must do things to help sustain their families. People's interests are being affected because some people do not want to put in the money and time to help these people that are suffering. Yes, it may sound inhumane, but in reality some people do not want to.
I liked how you talked about how people in the US are not helping and I liked how you said the groups that are helping. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI liked how showed that people are not getting enough help and people aren't doing enough to help people who suffer from hunger. I also liked how you said it affects family and education values.
