Many different things sum up to cause world hunger. War, natural disasters, weather, agricultural practices, population, and poverty. Natural disasters such as floods, tropical storms, and long periods of droughts. Natural disasters are very unpredictable. Wars limit the amount of food the place can access. Typically, a family whose life has been ravaged by war is of low financial status. This leads to the hardship of lack of food. Agricultural practices, such as which crops they invest in and how much they can get.Deforestation, drought, and soil erosion factor in the fate of a certain places economy and food access. If the population is too large, that could be a concern for food. With a lot of people comes more amount of food. And lastly, if the place is relatively poor, the access to food is low. Many people agree to this issue, because it is worldwide and a concern practically everywhere. Many scientific research has gotten into depth to prove the reasons for world hunger. Since such an abundance of people are suffering from hunger, a lot of money and research has gotten in to help stop it. Many businesses, colleges, and scientists have studied to find a cure for world hunger. Typically, children suffer the fate fo hunger more, because their body hasn't fully grown yet. People of all age groups in countries such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, and Haiti are malnourished. Even though there are many people that are hungry in the US, people tend to be of the Asian or African descent.

ReplyDeleteThe one thing that stood out to me is how you stated that if an area is poor it is hard for the people to get food, and be as successful as a person from a non poor place.
